Accommodations

Participants have the option of campus housing or hotel accommodations in the vicinity of UCSB.   

Hotel accommodations are available at area hotels. There are no hotels within walking distance of the campus and they do not offer a shuttle service to campus. Participants staying off campus are responsible for their own method of getting to and from campus for classes and evening events. UCSB Campus Housing at Manzanita Village

Residing on campus provides unmatched convenience with private or shared accommodations. Manzanita Village Residence Hall will be available to BMI attendees on a first come, first served basis, so early reservations are recommended. Campus housing rates vary according to single or double occupancy and the number of nights reserved ($279-$350).

We also have the option of the Sierra Madres Apartments, Monday, August 5-Thursday, August 8. These two-bedroom apartments are perfect for colleagues traveling together.

Costs range from $206-$297 per night per apartment, depending on the number of nights and guests. Inquire online to make your reservation. Please note that Dining Commons meals are not included with your stay at Sierra Madre.
