WACUBO's Annual Service Projects

Each year, WACUBO participates in a service project at a local school where our annual conferences take place. This commitment reflects our strong belief in supporting education at all levels, from secondary to higher education.

Take a look at some of the service projects from recent years and be sure to join us each year in making a difference in the communities we serve.

In 2024, we're proud to support the Davis Middle School Robotics Team in Compton, California, empowering underserved students in STEM education. Partnering with Davis Middle School, a Title 1 institution, we aim to equip their robotics lab with nearly $10k in supplies, leveraging member and business partner contributions.

At the 2023 Annual Conference we were excited to aid Casa Blanca Community School, the sole tribally-run BIE elementary school in Phoenix. With a focus on their library, we aim to provide more than $10k worth of hardcover books, enriching educational experiences.

In 2022 at the Annual Conference, we extend aid to Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy in Colorado Springs, supporting military families. Through a donation drive, we seek youth-sized college/university apparel to gift to JSAA students during our conference at The Broadmoor.

In 2021, our support reached Fairview Elementary in Anchorage, AK, enhancing resources and programs for 363 students from Pre-K to 6th grade.
