2021 Shared Services Workshop

Megan Glide Villasenor, Chief Operations Officer, Biomedical Engineering, University of California, Davis

Megan Glide Villasenor is the Chief Operations Officer for Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. She has over 15 years of higher education experience, with a focus on administrative operations. She was part of the inaugural team who helped develop, build, implement and refine the Shared Services Organization at UC Davis, a center that provides partner-focused support services in the areas of human resources, payroll, procurement and accounts payable. Megan has a Master of Science in Business Administration, and is an active volunteer in her community. Since 2017, Megan has been an active member of the WACUBO community, serving on the Marketing and Communications Committee and the Professional Development Workshop Committee.

Jon Marchetta, Senior Director, Finance and Administration Shared Services, University of Oregon

In his current role as the Senior Director for Finance and Administration Shared Services, Jon oversaw the creation of the Finance and Administration Shared Services (FASS) group at the University of Oregon starting in 2016. Since then, he has headed the development of the unit to support 16 departments across five operational portfolios, with additional units continuing to be onboarded.  FASS focuses on three major areas of support:  Business Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources. He has more than 15 years of experience managing higher education operations, with previous stops at the University of Iowa, Kirkwood Community College and Portland Community College. Jon received his undergraduate degree with a focus in entrepreneurial management from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from the University of Iowa.
