Parking
There is no organized transportation from off-campus hotels. BMI participants with cars may be willing to drive others to campus.
Parking is $8/day.
If you are staying off-campus and drive to campus, you will need to follow the below parking permit instructions.
- Parking permits are required on campus at all times, and guests will need to purchase a parking permit if they are bringing a vehicle to campus. ePermits are issued to the license plate displayed on the vehicle, license plate must be visible from the drive aisle and are valid only in the parking lot where the ePermit is purchased. ePermits can be purchased using the ParkMobile app and website (https://app.parkmobile.io/login) or through ePermit Pay Stations located throughout the parking structures. If purchasing through ParkMobile, use the zone number that is posted where you park. You have the option to purchase a multiday permit. Follow the prompts on the screen till you see the “Summer Conference” option.
- The two primary ON-CAMPUS parking locations for conference attendees are Parking Structure 18 and 22 (we recommend 22 for BMI) (Interactive Campus Map). Do NOT park in the Coastal Access spots near the entrance to Structure 22. Please note that guests will NOT be able to use their Structure 18 or 22 permits to parking in Lot 3 for registration and the opening dinner. Lot 3 is a faculty/staff lot during weekdays and becomes a visitor lot after 5:00pm during the week. If participants would like to park in Lot 3 on Monday night after 5:00pm, they would need to purchase a permit specifically for Lot 3 from the dispenser in that lot.
- Information about Disabled Parking can be found here. Please note that a Disabled placard issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles is not a substitute for a campus permit.
