Diane Fennig, Senior Consultant, Gallagher Executive Search and Leadership Advisors

Diane Fennig is a passionate connector at the intersection of opportunities and talent.  Her career foundation has been in association with universities and higher education systems for over 25 years. Diane continues to be a curious student. Her experiences in search and talent development along with her connections are the foundation ingredients in Diane’s "secret sauce" for success. Her recipe also includes a serving of generosity, passion, grace, and gratitude.  Diane joined the Human Capital Group in 2009, which is now Gallagher Executive Search and Leadership Advisors.

Diane’s commitment to education includes an earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Secondary Education from Marquette University, a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel from Miami University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership/Organizational Behavior from the University of South Carolina. Diane has enjoyed Association Affiliations over the past decade with WACUBO, Forté Foundation, The YMCA, and SHRM.


Brittani Brown, Associate Vice President of Administration, California State University San Marcos

Brittani Brown, Associate Vice President of Administration, is an alumna of California State University, holding a BS in Computer Science from California State University Monterey Bay and a Masters in Public Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills.  With a background in grants and contracts, Brittani embarked on her journey with California State University San Marcos in 2014, initially serving in the Procurement & Contracts department. Her dedication and leadership skills soon led her to administrative roles in Facilities Development and Management and the Vice President’s Office.  Currently, Brittani’s portfolio includes overseeing the Procurement & Contracts department, the Office of Internal Audit, Safety Health and Sustainability, Policy Administration, Clery Act compliance, Travel Office, and the Vice President’s Office.


 

Andrea King, Senior Manager of Systemwide Learning & Development, CSU Chancellor's Office

Andrea King is the Senior Manager for Talent Development at the California State University Office of the Chancellor. In this role, Andrea supports strategic learning and organizational development initiatives across 63,000 employees and 23 campuses to ensure personal development, engagement, retention, and the growth of the organization. With over 15 years of experience, Andrea excels in fostering innovation and driving organizational performance through data-driven decision-making and impactful learning initiatives. As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Senior Professional in Human Resources, and Master Performance Consultant, Andrea leverages research-based, systematic approaches to analyze organizational challenges, identify key behaviors, and promote strategies to increase organizational effectiveness. Andrea’s areas of specialty include Adult Learning Theories, Leadership Development, Strategic Planning, Measurement & Reporting, and Neurodiverse Learning. Andrea is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships in the workplace to enhance communication and drive success.


 Sheila Owens, Senior Director of Systemwide Learning & Development, CSU Chancellor's Office

Sheila Owens serves as Senior Director of Systemwide Learning & Development at the CSU. As such, she is responsible for professional development initiatives, such as leadership and supervisor training, across the Cal State system.  She also oversees HR compliance training and accessibility for online learning resources. Prior to joining the CSU, Sheila spent 20+ years as a learning technology leader managing global IT Training, Learning Media and LMS teams for Fortune 500 clients.  Sheila started her career as an English teacher in the UK and Japan. She holds a BA Honors in English literature and Social Policy, Post-Grad Certification in Teaching and Education, and an MEd in Information Science & Learning Technology.
